Eco-Bio Kas is an extremely sustainable renovation principle, aimed at a liveable green city with more biodiversity. Eco-Bio Kas is built up from the following components:

ECO - Application of a green facade and roof, nesting boxes and the deliberate creation of cracks and overhangs strengthen the local ecology and supports the return of (threatened) species. Result: a more liveable home environment, with reduced CO2 and heat distress.

BIO - The applied biobased materials are fully sourced from nature and can also be returned to nature. No use of limited resources.

KAS (Glass house) - The application of the 'Kas' contributes to building without installations. By covering the garden facing south, extra living space is created, a thermic buffer emerges and the facade is shielded from rain and wind.

The passive concept is strenghtened further through excellent insulation, a solar chimney, materials to increase comfort, 4-double glass facing north and rain water collection. Moreover, the sun is being used to heat the house, warm water use and gaining electricity.
